| Personal History | Addy likes to break things. In her defense, however, she likes to put them back together too. Born Addison Wheeler to Jared and Jen Wheeler, she was the middle child out of five. Considerably younger than her older sisters and considerably older than her younger twin brothers, she grew up pretty much left to her own devices. Whether she learned to be this way or born this way, Addy had to temperament to not mind it. In fact, she preferred it. She was far more interested in the various devices of their contemporary home on Luna than anything her siblings were up to. It wasn't exactly a favorite of her parents when she took apart things like the replicator, but they saw her aptitude early and tried only to steer her towards things that were less likely to ruin dinner. When Addy chose to apply to Starfleet Academy to pursue a career in engineering, it surprised literally no one at all. She made it through her academy years as a decent student. Not precisely at the top of the class, she was bright and able. Addy tended to get along with her engineering professors better than her fellow students, but she didn't have a bad social record either. Extracurricular activities tended to be few, although thanks to her first-year roommate, she developed a deep appreciate for the twenty-first century genre "Steampunk" and the attending "period" literature. After graduating, Addy was assigned to the USS Jefferson. From there, it was Starbase 413 and the Mai Sung. Now she looks onward to a new ship and a new challenge. |
